SEWING AND FEATURES
Course Description
Do you want to focus on patchwork, application, pocket details, straps, edges/finishes, lining and work with a combination of old and new materials? Here you can combine your old jeans or your favorite silk dress with a new piece of fabric or a linen cloth from your grandmother. The aim of the course is to make one or more pieces of unique youth clothes in a sustainable design and material.
The course helps you shape your ideas into reality so that they fit exactly for you and your body. You will learn to make a simple kimono pattern from squares and wedges. You also learn how to sew for a professional result. Together we will review where it is advisable to place the selected details or section on the body.
There will be thorough guidance in size, materials and sewing details so that you get a result that matches your ideas. The course is in depth with the finesse. You will need to make more samples for each finish to achieve a nice result in the chosen fabrics.
