Press releases and press events: Fashion marketing and PR professionals develop press releases to share important news like the launch of new collections, collaborations or events. They can also plan and coordinate press events, such as fashion shows, product launches or store openings where media and influential people are invited.
Social media: This role involves managing and updating social media accounts for the fashion brand. This includes creating content, engaging with followers, collaborating with influencers and using platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok to increase brand visibility and interaction with the target audience.
Brand strategy: Fashion marketing and PR specialists are responsible for developing an overall strategy for how the brand wants to be perceived by the public. This includes identifying the target audience, differentiating oneself from the competition and communicating the brand’s values and messages in a consistent manner.
Collaborations and partnerships: Fashion marketing and PR professionals can identify opportunities for collaborations with other brands, designers or influencers to expand the brand’s reach and appeal.
Demand feedback and handle crisis situations: If negative attention or controversy arises around the brand, it’s the PR team’s responsibility to manage the situation, mitigate the damage and respond to media inquiries in a professional manner.
