Modules
The course participants are introduced to the course and will subsequently be introduced to pattern cutting with a focus on trouser basic patterns, in order to gain experience with how pattern parts function and develop. The students develop a set of trousers in size 1:4 and then in size 1:1.
In this module, the course participants adjust the trouser patterns and adjust them so that they are ready for sewing. The trousers are then sewn up in the cotton canvas stout.
The work is continued from the previous module, and in addition the course participants are given the task of experimenting with lay, pocket and fly variations. After this, the course participants are introduced to how simple wide trousers are developed.
The recipe for a jacket in size 38 is introduced to the course participants, and they are subsequently tasked with developing a jacket pattern in size 1:4. Own jacket in sizes 1:1 and 1:4 will be developed next.
Work on the basic jacket shape continues. In this module, we also go in depth with cuts and adjusting the basic shape of the jacket.
In this module, the course participants will be tasked with making sleeve cuts for a half or full jean. During the module, there will be individual sparring, and students will receive ongoing feedback on their progress. tools that can be used, tips for implementation, etc.
In this module, the course participants will be tasked with experimenting with different cutting variations. We will, among other things, look at lapels and loose jacket basic shape.
The work from the previous module is completed and we will review all solutions and projects. There will subsequently be feedback and guidance on how the course participants can use their newly learned knowledge and experience in their further work.
