Galla
Contains knowledge of relationship between material and finish, using advanced sewing and material techniques and working with form, silhouette and making a craft, qualitative product. Construction and draping are also included, with an emphasis on idea development, detail and finish.
Syllabus
The students are introduced to the task of idea development in the form of thoughts, notes, sketching and photo registration. During the course, the student is tasked with creating an original, creative product that is draped on a gin or made using construction, as well as acquiring an optimal finish in harmony with material, shape and silhouette.
A theme is chosen and from here the student must work with shape, silhouette and produce a high-quality, artisanal product. We work with construction and draping at a high level with an emphasis on detail and finish. Along the way, work is done in small groups, around idea development and adjustment.
